(Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.)

Anadolu Isuzu was established in 1980 as a joint venture between Anadolu Group and Isuzu. The company is involved in the production and marketing of commercial vehicles including light trucks, pick-ups and midi buses. The annual production capacity was increased by 50% to 12,000 units/year, through a US$50mn worth new plant investment completed in 1999. Asuzu reached a 30% market share in the lights trucks segment as of 2002-end.

The company puts special emphasis on continuous product development to satisfy the changing consumer needs. Its wide distribution network, consisting of 61 dealers across Turkey, also poses a strategic advantage in its sector.
