CCI
is the largest bottler and distributor by volume of
non-alcoholic commercial beverages in Turkey. The
company owns and operates a total of five manufacturing
facilities - located in Ankara, Tekirdağ-Çorlu,
Bursa, Mersin and İzmir-Kemalpaşa - with a total annual
production capacity of approximately 320 million unit
cases. In 2002, the company posted a significant sales
volume growth of 11%, reaching 208 million unit cases.
Products bottled and distributed
by CCI fall into two broad categories: carbonated
soft drinks and non-carbonated beverages. Within the
carbonated category, the largest brands in Turkey,
by sales volume, are Coca-Cola and Fanta. Other brands
in this category are Coca-Cola light, Sprite, Schweppes
and Sen Sun.
The non-carbonated beverages category comprises Cappy
and Frutia juice brands; Turkuaz, one of Turkey's
leading water brands; Powerade, a sports drink; and
Nestea, an iced tea brand which is owned by Nestle.
The company's distribution network and supporting
infrastructure of around 500 distributors serves approximately
250,000 customers directly from its plants or distribution
warehouses.
